01 / Ways to take part

Code is only one of them.

  • Share an idea or ask a question in the discussions.
  • Try a project and tell us what broke or what surprised you.
  • Review designs, run benchmarks, improve the docs.
  • Send a fix or a feature.

Already contributing to Apache Cassandra®? Keep going. When we bring Apache Cassandra or other Apache-licensed work into ChronitonDB, it keeps its original authors.

AI-assisted contributions are welcome too. As with any tool, you review what you send and stand behind it.

02 / The contributor agreement

Sign once, online.

Before your first contribution is merged, you sign the contributor agreement. You sign it online on your first pull request, and it covers every Chroniton Labs project. It keeps your work open source, and you keep the right to use your own contributions however you like.

03 / Getting started

The details live with the code.

When you are ready to send a change, each project's contributing guide on GitHub explains how it works. If you are not sure where to begin, start a discussion and we will help.
